Dolceacqua (Sweet Water) Bridge in Liguria

Dolceacqua Bridge Liguria
Dolceacqua (Sweet Water) Bridge is located in Liguria on the border with France in the medieval village of Dolceacqua and was built in the 15th century on the river Nervia to connect the two parts of the village.
It has only one arch, allowing easy access to the old Castle located on the other side of the new village.
The beauty of this bridge and the medieval village were painted by Barbadirame (Copper Beard) nickname of Mario Raimondo, Claude Monet and other artists.
