This Will Be Our Destiny

Soon will be the era
of transatlantic spaceships
launched in the air on the routes
incommensurable of the infinity
we will pass across satellites rockets
celestial bodies
encased in pressurized capsules
standing at times
at an interplanetary station
a few minutes for supplies
then we will resume the flight
we’ll fall asleep
touching perhaps in the night
a meteorite.

This will be our destiny
will we be happy?
Or would we like to go back to our origins?
